Chapter 01 — The spark
It started with one impossible week
Clgify began on a campus in Kharar, with a very ordinary problem. A new semester, a suitcase in the corridor, and two things to solve in seven days: a PG that wasn't a gamble, and a second-hand laptop that wasn't a scam.
What existed was scattered — hostel notice boards, broker phone calls, four WhatsApp groups with 900 members each, and classified sites built for everyone except students. Every lead ended the same way: an unverified number, a price that changed on the call, and a room that looked nothing like the photo.
That week didn't just cost money. It cost the first month of college.
Chapter 02 — The mission
Make the first month of college simple
Every year lakhs of students move to a new city and start from zero — a room, a mattress, a cycle, a study table, a tiffin, a roommate who doesn't keep opposite hours.

A general marketplace sells you a sofa in a city. Clgify tells you it's 900 metres from your gate, that the seller is a final-year student two hostels away, and that they're leaving on the 14th.
Everyone who lists is a student or a verified property partner whose documents our team has actually read. Nothing goes live without review. Partners get a listing allowance, not unlimited reach. Chat stays inside Clgify so nobody's number gets passed around.
